ALEMÁN FALCÓN, J. & ASCENSIÓN PIÑERO, M.C., 2022. The internationalisation of the German Dual Vocational Training System. Considerations for Implementation in Other Countries. Archivos Analíticos de Políticas Educativas=Education Policy Analysis Archives, vol. 30, no. 1, pp. 58. ISSN 1068-2341
Widely acknowledged worldwide and renowned for the excellent skills it provides to apprentices by combining training in companies and at school, the number of plans to implement the German Dual Vocational Training System in other countries is increasing every year. This article examines the current structure of this system and the factors that are needed to export it successfully. Building on previous research, we have examined reports from German public institutions, official documents, legislative texts, relevant specialised sources, and information obtained through other qualitative research techniques. This is why, among other essential elements, we address consensus between the social partners, training plans, the certification of trainers, the creation of supra-enterprise training centres and the establishment of observatories. By adopting this dual system, vocational qualifications are matched to the production requirements of companies, the labour market is supplied with the appropriate specialists, and young apprentices are integrated into society and the labour market.
SECANILLA CAMPO, E., 2021. EI, Resilience, Women and Other Intellectual Giftedness Issues to Considers, among Higher Ability Learners. International Journal of Developmental and Educational Psychology: INFAD. Revista de Psicología, vol. 1, no. 2, pp. 275-280. ISSN 0214-9877
Intellectual giftedness, high ability learning, talented individuals, are concepts that have been the subject of discussion for a number of years now. The situation is what it is, but the concept changes according to the country, community, or municipality where one is located, depending on the needs of the educational policies in each context, or other interests. Once this conceptualisation has been overcome in some sectors, we address some related aspects that concur in people with intellectual giftedness, in terms of their complexity and completeness, in terms of their intensity, but also from a holistic view of the person. Considering that evolution is constant, knowing oneself is key to moving forward in life. For this purpose, qualitative research was conducted through various in-depth interviews with high ability learners, in which they shared their life stories. From the analysis of these interviews, one can detect overlapping characteristics between them. This article will outline some of these specificities, which will allow us to suggest ways to better understand and professionally accompany the self-awareness of intellectually gifted people to support, advise, detect, and intervene with children, adolescents, young people and adults with high learning abilities and their families.
VALENTÍN, L.A., 2021. Digital Literacy with a Gender Perspective: Theory and Practice on the Use of Instagram as a Pedagogical Tool in Secondary Education. Universidad Complutense de Madrid
This research focuses on examining the educational situation in secondary education to determine whether it is desirable to implement Instagram as a pedagogical tool with a gender perspective and, if so, under what terms. As I develop the thesis, I try to respond to the general goals proposed, which aim to highlight the possibilities of using Instagram as a pedagogical tool and which form the backbone of this research. For this purpose, I have worked on three different aspects: on the one hand, the opinions, uses and practices of pupils and teachers, as well as the similarities and differences between the two groups. On the other hand, the detection and analysis of possible educational gaps related to digital literacy and gender equality and, finally and based on the former two, the planning of innovative educational projects that include the use of Instagram as a pedagogical tool and that meet the educational needs of the groups participating in the research.
