Throughout April, the Basque Youth Observatory organised two courses as part of its 2023 training plan
In April, the Basque Youth Observatory held two editions of the course " Pornography and Education: A Comprehensive Approach to a Global Problem" in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Bilbao. The main objective of this training has been to analyze how pornography is influencing the construction of people's collective erotic imaginary in order to know where and how to apply educational counterweights to minimize this influence.
Raúl Marcos Estrada and Miren López de Arregui Lakuntza (from Emaize Sexology Centre) have directed the courses.
Fourty one people attended and their professional profiles were as follows:
- 47 % have been youth workers.
- 32 % have been people linked to formal education.
- The remaining 21 % were people with professional profiles not exclusively linked to youth.
