
The Basque Youth Observatory is organising a classroom course titled 'Cybersecurity or the Challenge of Taking Responsibility for our Actions'. Ane Martínez Recio, Internet and digital tools consultant, expert in training, capacity building and technological coaching at Ezberdin, Digitalde and AiaraValley will be in charge of delivering the course.
The general goal of the course is to learn about the current main digital hazards and threats and to reflect on how to deal with them as well as the fundamental role of the human factor in these hazards.
Goals:
- Having information and knowledge of the various attack techniques to which people may be exposed is key to be able to detect them in time and avoid future problems.
- To provide those working with young people with practical resources to support them from a security perspective (to be able to detect attacks early and avoid future problems).
- To be aware of the possible consequences of the misuse of devices or ignorance of the risks that currently exist.
- Raise awareness of cyber threats linked to Covid 19.

Priority will be given to people who work or cooperate with youths (in agencies, associations, public administrations, companies, educational centres, volunteers...). In addition, the order of registration will be taken into account.
