The Observatory is a tool providing a comprehensive and ongoing overview of the situation and development of children, adolescents and young people, enabling the monitoring of the impact of actions undertaken in the Basque Country by various public administrations.

Main objectives:

  • Conduct studies, research and meetings of experts, including possible working groups.
  • Disseminate information and publish periodic reports on the situation of children, adolescents and young people.
  • Facilitate the exchange of information between administrations, researchers and professionals in the sector.
  • Advise institutions and organisations on these matters.
  • Create and maintain a specialised document archive.
