The report analyses the situation of young people in the labour market based on the data collected in the Labour Market Census 2023 (supply phase), an official statistical operation carried out by the Specific Statistical Authority of the Department of Economy, Labour, and Employment.
The aim of the study is to characterise the employment of working young people and to know the situation of unemployed young people and, in both cases, to compare the situation of young people with that of older people.
The Observatory produces this report every two years since 2019, and this is the third edition. The report, therefore, presents the evolution of the data over these four years.
