The Basque Youth Observatory is organising a workshop titled “Gender-Based Violence and Youth: Prevention Pills”. Eider Goiburu, social psychologist, sex educator and equality expert will be the person in charge of delivering the workshop.
The main goal of this training event is to offer technical and political leaders in the public administrations and professionals in public and private entities working in the field of youth, a range of resources to prevent gender-based violence. The specific goals include, among others, raising awareness about male violence against women; helping to identify situations of gender-based violence among young people; understanding and creating resources to prevent, manage and deal with situations of gender-based violence.

Profile of participants: Priority will be given to people who work or cooperate with young people in agencies approved by the European Solidarity Corps (agencies, associations, public administrations, companies, educational centres, volunteers...). In addition, the order of registration will be taken into account.
