The Basque Youth Observatory held a course in Donostia entitled ‘The industry of desire: An educational perspective for understanding pornography’. The main objective of this training was to analyse how pornography is influencing the construction of people's collective erotic imagination.
The course was taught by Miren López de Arregi Lakuntza, sexologist and social worker at the EMAIZE Sexology Centre.
Twelve people attended, and their professional profiles were distributed as follows:
- 25% were people linked to formal education.
- 42% were people working in the field of childhood, adolescence and youth.
- The rest were people with other professional profiles.
