  • How much is there of "a trend" regarding the 2030 Agenda?

The 2030 Agenda raises scepticism because of its approach and the indicators it establishes for each SDG, which at first sight seem unattainable.

This is why the 2030 agenda is not only global in scope but also works to enable actions that can respond to local realities.

It is, therefore, essential to create spaces to listen to young people's needs, interests and challenges in relation to the 2030 Agenda. Through this introduction and support, they will be able to develop step-by-step strategies and tools to achieve their goals.

  • But... does the 2030 Agenda concern youth?

Yes, it concerns all citizens and, therefore, young people. Every person must do their bit. It is a change of the relational model, of coexistence, of care, of consumption,…

First, I think we must do away with the cliché that youth is the future and try to understand that young people are the present, here and now.

Through access to the resources that the 2030 Agenda can offer and facilitate, young people can be agents of change in their communities, municipalities, and environments. However, this will require the implementation of SDG 17: PARTNERSHIPS, so that organisations and institutions .... can generate the necessary connections, in this case, with young people, to make the goals of the 2030 Agenda possible between all of us.

  • Can we do things in our projects that will contribute to the 2030 Agenda?

I believe things can and should ALWAYS be done in our youth projects because they are active agents of society and should therefore be at the centre of things. However, as I said earlier, that requires focusing on SDG 17 so that these projects can be carried out through various partnerships and access to resources.

Throughout the course, we will try to identify the needs and interests of young people in relation to the 2030 Agenda so that they can create and materialise local projects that have an impact on their communities and environment.
