The Observatory has organised the course in late May and early June 2026
The Basque Observatory on Childhood, Adolescence and Youth has organised the course "Childhood, adolescence and emotional storms: contributing to emotional regulation to navigate without sinking". The main aim of this training has been to strengthen the ability of professionals working with children and young people to understand, support and promote emotional regulation.
The course was taught by Natalia Alonso Alberca, Clinical and Health Psychology and Research Methodology, and Coordinator of the Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of the Basque Country (EHU).
Nineteen people attended and their professional profiles were distributed as follows:
- 58 % were people linked to formal education.
- 37 % were people working in the youth field.
- The rest were people with other professional profiles.
