Historical list of statistical data that form part of the
Basque Youth Observatory indicator system. Year 2009

 

 

 

  The number of young people starting drug dependency treatments has fallen (pdf, 65 kb)

  The percentage of young people who have left home has increased to 19% among young people between 15 and 29 years of age (pdf, 93 kb)

  Over half of young people who no longer live in their family home live on less than 900 € a month (pdf, 89 kb) 

  Over half of young people in the 20 to 29 age group state they depend on their families' income (pdf, 77 kb) 

  Basque youth chiefly dedicate their free time to their friends or partners (pdf, 87 kb)

  Almost half of arrests registered in 2008 involved people under 30 years of age (pdf, 66 kb)

  Almost half of the times young people in the 15 to 29 age group visit a doctor, they visit a general practitioner (pdf, 94 kb)

  The basque population is aging: over the last seven years, the youth index has fallen by almost 5% and is now 16.4% (pdf, 78 kb)
